    Hey awesome video.
I am new to PC gaming. I ended up getting a 2020 Razer blade 15 2070 max Q, 16 gig ram, I set up my laptop to run virtual desktop to my quest 2 to run half life Alyx and it worked nice but my fans were running full blast (very loud) and the laptop was hot to touch. Is this normal? or would running the link cable be less work for the razer blade? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for helping out a noob!

  2. S O U L on April 6, 2021 at 11:22 pm

So what your saying is it’s possible to use a laptop for VR it just has to be a good one.

  3. Jack on April 6, 2021 at 11:24 pm

    How about Canada

  4. Dopelenii on April 6, 2021 at 11:25 pm

Is a hp laptop model 15-dy1073nr okay for an oculus quest 2?

  5. Offline gaming on April 6, 2021 at 11:26 pm

I’m not sure if you will see this but can the blade 15 run valve index

  6. Deathisourlover on April 6, 2021 at 11:26 pm

So I can only afford at least 600 and I have to spend at least 1000 to run my oculus quest on line? Feeling like I’m being told to screw myself.

  7. palacio802 on April 6, 2021 at 11:28 pm

Some information here is simply wrong. For instance, gtx 1650 is NOT compatible with Quest 2. If you have a laptop with gtx1650 and try to use it with Quest 2 you will get a permament error banner. You can get some computer games working after some effort (starting the game from the laptop screen), but at the lowest quality and fresh rate. And still with some simulators such as X-Plane or DCS you will experience flickers and bad behaviour. I talk from my personal experience. For Quest 2 something equal or better than a rtx2060 is advisable.

  8. Ronnie Grissom on April 6, 2021 at 11:29 pm

can you help me? idk much about technology but im trying to decide the right laptop for the oculus quest 2 but also something at the price of 1,500 or under. i want to improve the resolution and all the other good stuff to make it look amazing.

  9. The Mysticle on April 6, 2021 at 11:32 pm

I forgot that Premiere Pro Does That… There is image corruption in the video at 8:14. I don’t think there’s a way to fix that only by rendering using CPU instead of GPU. Sorry about that <3

Hi, I’m going for the MSI GT72 Dominator pro 17.3 " , i7-5700HQ, 16GB RAM with the Geforce GTX 980M with 8GB GDDR5, will this run well with the Oculus rift s ?

  12. BriefVr on April 6, 2021 at 11:35 pm

    2 gbs of ram

    Android os

    32gbs of emmc storage

Some rando chinese vr headset from wish.

  19. Lvl on April 6, 2021 at 11:42 pm

I don’t thing there is one laptop on the market that has a mid range gpu "rtx 2060"that does not have removable /upgradable system ram and usually you can upgrade the cpu too just the gpu that is soldered unless you buy a modular laptop but then they usually are pricey and have high end components.

  45. Dirty Deal Audio on April 7, 2021 at 12:11 am

Hey, thanks for your video! Question – can Razer Blade 15, RTX™ 2080 SUPER do the screen mirroring and VR game play video recording? Does the Razer laptop will have enough power to do both tasks together – run the VR game and video record the field of view? Maybe somebody have try that?
