I tried to install Ubuntu gamepack onto my PC on my 500 gig ssd, but it keeps failing. I tried installing regular Ubuntu onto it and same the install kept crashing. I tried Linux Mint and it worked. Not sure why I can’t get Ubuntu GamePack to work at all.

There is no such thing as a tough os. If so, of course it’s only linux based. How easy is the software installation on Windows and so on. A linux based os has not yet come out to surpass Windows in ease of use. That’s why people do not want to come to linuxil. Anyone who has studied any software language can use it. Is it made exclusively for software developers? Even a 5 year old Thai child can use a Windows OS. Not even a 45-year-old who is not a software developer can use it. Of course. One reason is that no software can be installed without using the command

Nothing much has been updated in Ubuntu 20.10 so why not just add the little updates to Ubuntu 20.04?

  9. Francisco Sepúlveda on April 6, 2021 at 11:20 pm

it no longer supports the nvidia-340 driver because of the new kernel. but you can choose to run it with kernel 5.4 in grub menu

Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. (Psalms 51:1-4 [KJV]) _{}_ The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (II Peter 3:9 [KJV])

I liked it but it’s better to install it with a cd or a usb as upgrading from the os may break the system! I am now using Linux Mint as it’s much more stable but it is boring but I like it!

I’ve always loved Ubuntu since I saw it for the first time at my friend’s house. But I cannot use it as my main OS since I need a lot of sofware that Windows has. I’d love to make my windows look like Ubuntu honestly, that’d be beautiful

Neat to see how far the desktop environment has come. I haven’t used one in Ubuntu since 2013 since my main use case is for servers.
