  4. Atari7800 atari on April 8, 2021 at 11:45 pm

My Top 10 so far but can change
    1. Strider (This is still one of the most amazing looking games for me and in some parts looks even better than the Arcade Version and some of the soundtrack is better IMO The Japanese Mega Drive Version is my preferred version and it looks amazing in RGB I might ad).
    2. Castlevania: Bloodlines ( I like it even more than Rondo Of Blood and im a huge PC Engine fan).
    3. Crusader Of Centy
    4. Sonic The Hedgehog 2
    5. Sonic The Hedgehog
    6. Ghouls N Ghost
    7. Phantasy Star IV
    8. Phantasy Star 2
    9. Streets Of Rage 2
    10. (tie) Street Fighter 2 Special Champion Edition. The most complete SF CE and looks better than the PC Engine and SNES versions when comparing them all in RGB and also plays better.
    10. (tie) The EA Sports games. Im a big sports fan and Genesis brought good sports action home for me that was better than what the SNES and TG16/PC Engine had to offer.

  5. Nerdy Hillbilly on April 8, 2021 at 11:50 pm

Level creativity is definitely higher in Bloodlines but I still like Castlevania 4 better.

  6. Froderick Fronkensteen on April 8, 2021 at 11:51 pm

"i don’t know why this game’s on my top ten but…i do like it" hahaha!

"Because the Genesis is a second class system to the Super Nintendo"
    Are you kidding right?

  20. C U P C Λ K Ξ on April 9, 2021 at 12:09 am

Great great great video – for some reason I’ve never been an exclusive console "fanboy" – even now. But Genisis for some reason always has a lil extra special place in my heart when I was a kid and even now. Nintendo was always still mindblowing.

Okay, I lied. Except for Dreamcast. That broke that rule. Was in fact a Dreamcast fanboy. Still am. :p

Anyone in their 30s watching this? 💙

  21. Read-only Memorabilia on April 9, 2021 at 12:10 am

Just came here to say I disagree.

  22. Lon Reed on April 9, 2021 at 12:11 am

The only genesis games I had played as a child because I was a Nintendo boy was the Sonics, Mortal Kombat, and Evander Holyfield boxing. I have my own model 2 genesis now and I own a small library of games including the 3 I played before along with some good ones like Castlevania, Aladdin, Adventures of Batman and Robin to name a few. Great console!

  23. William Davis on April 9, 2021 at 12:14 am

Joe Montana sports talk football was another one of those Genesis games which was way ahead of it’s time.

  24. Trey Johnson on April 9, 2021 at 12:14 am

    Booger man,

  25. Final Theory Games on April 9, 2021 at 12:15 am

It does not matter what system you play on, what matters is how much fun you have.

  26. fabi o on April 9, 2021 at 12:15 am

Like disney games? What do you think of Donald in Maui Mallard, for Genesis?

  27. Vincent Phillips on April 9, 2021 at 12:16 am

That’s the whole beauty with the sonic games. There are plenty of spaces to run all out without being hit. Also his spindash helps. Anyone that knows anything about sonic knows that water levels sonic needs air bubbles because without them sonic doesn’t survive. Plus he is slower in water.

  28. drazil33 on April 9, 2021 at 12:16 am

Get off the screen for more than 5 seconds so we can see the games, which is why I wanted to watch the video, not look at you

  29. Trey Johnson on April 9, 2021 at 12:16 am

    Alien 3 is badass

  30. felipe uehara on April 9, 2021 at 12:19 am

  36. Nolan N on April 9, 2021 at 12:26 am

DORK ALERT!!!! you know this guy got his ass kicked in school a few time lol I agree with the number 1 game though Street Fighter II should be on the list though that’s where you F’d up.

  37. kh7955 on April 9, 2021 at 12:26 am

Why do you talk so weird?

  38. SHONUFF on April 9, 2021 at 12:27 am

    Try ShadowRun on the genesis.

  39. ShintaSF on April 9, 2021 at 12:28 am

Can’t get behind of all of your choices (and they are opinions after all) but… Streets of Rage 2!

  40. Trey Johnson on April 9, 2021 at 12:28 am

The Spiderman one where u hafta take pictures us a lot of fun

  41. Johnath Morsillo on April 9, 2021 at 12:28 am

Love your choices! Streets of Rage 2 is my all time favorite Genesis game as well. Your videos are great!

  42. cyberfennek on April 9, 2021 at 12:33 am

Phantasy star 4 kicked Final fantasys ass and is still doing it

  43. Nerdy Hillbilly on April 9, 2021 at 12:36 am

    Games. Games. Gaaaaaaaaaames!

  44. Gustavo Lobo on April 9, 2021 at 12:36 am

Yes, we all have our little heart for some particular game! I think that, probably, there isn’t a FAIR top 10, maybe a TOP 50 or 100.

  45. TechKingOnline on April 9, 2021 at 12:37 am

Road Rash II is super nostalgic for me, I remember so vividly playing this with my Dad all the time. Waiting for the policeman on his bike to rock up then beating the crap out him with a chain or bat lol.

  46. Senan McCorry on April 9, 2021 at 12:37 am

Needs sonic and knuckles + Mortal Kombat

  47. Vincent Phillips on April 9, 2021 at 12:38 am

Lol it’s obvious the opposite the SNES was made because Sega was Blowing NES out the water. Genesis still had alot more mature and unique gross and gory games than SNES.

  48. TorqueEmUp on April 9, 2021 at 12:38 am

Streets of Rage 2 is definitely my current #1 for Genesis. Streets of Rage 1 is probably my #2. Also to anyone, if you intend to play Streets of Rage 3, play the Japanese Bare Knuckle 3, when it left Japan as SoR 3 they really fucked with it, changed the story, made the bosses have multiple more lifebars of health, and too many other really dumb changes.

  49. AbstractM0use on April 9, 2021 at 12:39 am

I got the Genesis at launch week. Mowed countless lawns and saved all summer. I loved this system, especially since it was my introduction to 16-bit. However, when I got the SNES a couple of years later, I hardly touched anything else, until I got a Playstation years later.

  50. W War on April 9, 2021 at 12:39 am

The ps1 version of road rash was massively better. Purely for it’s awesome soundtrack. It introduced me to soundgarden
