M7 im sorry to say was rubbish. When i had it after about a year the camera started to have this purple tint, had to post it back to htc to get it fixed. Im currently using m10 not a great phone but its doing the job😄. Was the cheaper andoid option for me.

The screen on my m7 survived so many drops that my note 8 would probably completely fall apart at that point. I have the silver model and loved it, especially the beats audio. I’ve never managed to break it and it fell face down on concrete numerous times. Quite a tank she was.

HTC m8 is in my opinion not only Htc best phone, but top 5 greatest phone ever made. Even in 2018 no one can match Htc m8 audio quality. M7 was great phone to, especially as a first metal phone with stereo speakers, but m8 is just far more powerful after only one year.

My last 5 phones were Htc phones I had the m7 at launch. Absolutely agree. Ultra pixel if it wasn’t for purple tint problem was ahead of its time BoomSound was a great idea. I now own a HTC 10 and I will say this is there best phone!! In 3+ years this phone has been magnificent. So realible never stutters or reboot s or any problems. Battery lasts all day still. Sounds from headphones is truly unreal. Camera is fantastic. Display is gorgeous. The one m7 was a 8. The 10 at least for me was truly a10.

The m8 has about everything the m7 has but with a slightly smaller screen

  15. Rubi Dzikri on December 5, 2019 at 1:58 am

Give me the phone.. and i will never ever complain…

  16. Jesse Frazier on December 5, 2019 at 1:59 am

Personally I’d go with the M8 from the following year. Everything the M7 does but also 128 GB expandable storage which was huge for a phone at the time

  17. Rhysus W on December 5, 2019 at 2:01 am

I legit still have this phone. I’m using it right now 😂

*It was the best phone I’ve ever used in my life* *I became the fan of HTC after using this*

  19. David Buchanan on December 5, 2019 at 2:01 am

There’s reports HTC is gonna release an old favourite updated for 2020. I’m hoping it’s the M7 max but the M8, 9 or 10 will be fine as the build and style of these phones was fantastic.. Hopefully it’s NOT hearsay..

  20. TheUltradarkbones on December 5, 2019 at 2:01 am

My m7 had little purple burn dots in every single photo

    Super desain

  24. AdamAfA on December 5, 2019 at 2:10 am

the M9 is terrible about overheating and the overheating causes the battery to die prematurely, is that really a good phone? After two years of use it can only play video for 45 minutes before the battery runs out.

Well, in my opinion HTC M7 was not the best HTC ever made. Most of HTC products or inovative and better than the competition in many aspects.HTC problem was that it was a standalone company with low resources compared to companies like LG, Samsung, Apple or Sony. But even with all the problems with marketing (witch became the pillar of "you buy what we tell you to buy")HTC continued the tradition of bringing to the market the most innovative and beautiful designs.HTC Legend was a pure beauty with the beautiful and feature rich sense on top of android.HTC Leo witch was a hardware masterpiece and a joy for geeks.HTC One X(first quad core flagship) with a design long ahead the competition.M7 and M8 were again a force in the built and innovation. The M9 was the first flow witch gave "the big boys" the gap to trash this little but magnificent company and unfotunately it worked.M10 was the best overall device of its time like the U11 but the design and timing weren’t the best in terms of actual design steps. The U12 is what HTC is doing right and this device feels 100% HTC and it is a joy to see how different but balanced is this device offering the user everything a smartphone can do but more. The capacitive buttons are not a problem like many reviewers are saying, I really like them and the feel they give on touching them.U12 might not have the best screen….it is like 9 out of 10 because of the technology because otherwise it is as beautiful and crisp than many OLED’s but not as good as the Samsung or Sony. The rest of the device is more than competent to win 1 to 3 place in every "fight" with more MARKETED deivces.

I liked this phone so much I bought the HTC One Max version. I still have it and use it once in awhile to watch media. These HTC LCD screens are still some of my favorite Non OLEDs of all time.

  45. Lee Greenway on December 5, 2019 at 2:31 am

I have just ordered an S9 to replace my HTC One M7, was a red version from EE so never seen another one like it. Been using it for 5 years now and other than a deep scratch in the middle of the back it still looks as good as new, built like a tank.

Negatives – The battery has been very poor for past 2 years and if I was still a heavy user it would not have been suitable. The main camera also got a blue tint and was unusable for past 2 years. Screen has always been hard to see in direct sunlight.

Positives – I hammered this phone for first 2-3 years of its life and it held up really well from intense usage. Sound has always been great. Screen still looks ok even now. Still working as I need it too after more than 5 years, thats good value imo.

The most fantastic feature of this phone was its size. Fits perfectly in my pocket and with the increase in the size of Android phones it has been really hard to find a suitable replacement. I have gone for an S9 because it is about the smallest high performance Android phone.

3 months late on my reply to this video but a true long term revue.

Watching this on my HTC One

Edit: the HTC One i’m using now is really old and has a cracked screen
