  4. Debasish Sundar Ray on April 16, 2021 at 11:38 pm

Science is only solution, technology is limited to materalistic and anti materalistic world which always try to destroy eachother but there is always a matter too to complete the design. And so on it goes for ever. Technology is fool 😂. Science is real.

  5. David Edwards on April 16, 2021 at 11:42 pm

Is anyone the least bit skeptical of this? Is there even a computational model on which to base it?

  6. MegaKootz on April 16, 2021 at 11:42 pm

Who will benefit most from quantum computing when they will only be available to massive money corporations? Well, those corporations can use those quantum computers to mine as much crypto as they could ever dream, all before entire countries make the currency swap and before ANYONE had the chance to notice. Simply continuing the era of kings and queens that we have always existed within. SO once again, quantum computing with krypto currency will allow those with money and power to not only increase it, but to hold it for all time.. bezos farming crypto with quantum computers… what a fantastically shitty world we are riding technology into.

I find this so interesting. It’s hard to put this into words, but it’s almost like when that person in the newspaper back in the 1930s conceptualized a communication device where we could speak to each other face to face. I believe every single thing/event/issue today will be different and everything will be the most fundamentally advanced/intelligent/easy to use than we could ever have imagined. It’s hard to imagine, but I believe even this comment will be able to be instantly located 50 years from now with vast information on my bias, life history, all instantaneously. No ‘smart’ phones/AI glasses etc. Just everything modelled to perfection, from our experience to materialism. I like to think of it as, if the human brain is possible, then even a biotechnological hyperintelligent being is possible. Not just predicting the weather or simulating chemical reactions, it won’t matter to us. We will have found the formula for everything by then, and we will have almost ‘ascended’ to perfection. We literally have proof that beyond our view of hyper-intelligence is possible through biology, and yet we don’t invest our money into these areas of research nearly as much as we could. We will understand experience, and thus ourselves. I feel as if we work almost backwards, if we invested more money now into those areas of research, our future would be much better than it would be if we deal with our day-to-day issues like we do today. I don’t think I’ve explained this properly, I just think of it as being able to customise the colour of my carpet by simply thinking of it. If it’s possible, and we want it, it will happen! (Hopefully in my lifetime, but ill be saving up to freeze my brain anyways because I know we’ll be able to preserve everything one day)

Wow my brain hurts by watching this lol its trying to comprehend it.

Technology is moving so fast, your top tier, fastest consumer i9 or Ryzen 9 cpu will seem comically slow in 10 years. Much like the core 2’s or Athlon’s from 10 years ago.

Well it is really a superconducting computer which led them to believe that they acheived the Quantum Supermacy.

  22. Modern Future Tech on April 16, 2021 at 11:56 pm

It will be interesting to see how far quantum computers can push the limits.

  23. Turnip Potato on April 16, 2021 at 11:56 pm

"In 50 years we will have computers that are very different than today".

I don’t think anyone will make such a predictable prediction in those 50 years.

  24. Tech Planet on April 16, 2021 at 11:57 pm

I guess the most interesting development would be Xanadu’s photonic processor because it could become developed and outsourced more. These types of computers are still in their infancy and it will be interesting when they can do some real-world calculations. Also, I recommend to check out Scott Aaronson’s videos on quantum computing and their associated problems.

I have a5 year old Dell laptop with DVD/RW and Hdmi for 200 bucks ,so why do you think 3,000 in America is Better when 25 years ago we had 256 microprocessors even Then ???

  30. Jef van Becker on April 17, 2021 at 12:06 am

I thought the whole point of quantum computers was to solve problems like Fusion power? to make it possible in an instant. to solve it. But it seems it’s another 30 years? away. they keep telling us this. Nixon’s war on cancer was to take ten years. back in 1972?

  31. Chad Wilson on April 17, 2021 at 12:07 am

I am okay with it not fitting on or under my desk anytime soon. We live in a connected world now, so I am thinking that as long as I have an Internet connection and access to some shared computer time on a quantum machine, I don’t need to roll my own.

  32. romefox on April 17, 2021 at 12:09 am

40 years from now we’ll be saying "look how huge they use to be", the same way we look at IBM computers from the 50’s.

    Future forecasting?

  38. the breadman on April 17, 2021 at 12:18 am

I have yet to see any explanation about the actual process by which a quantum computer does any computation at all. Simply announcing that it uses Qbits which can be in a superposition of 1 or 0 at the same time does not shed any light on the subject. I know enough about traditional computers to understand how semiconductors can be arranged into logic gates, and how those logic gates can be set up to perform various logical operations, and how from this basic level of logic a computer can be programmed to perform calculations. However, this basic knowledge only makes quantum computers seem even more mysterious since I cannot begin to imagine how a qbit can even be set up to perform and AND or an OR gate or anything like that. Please do a presentation on the basic operation of the qbit. I must be fascinating but I can’t find any info on it anywhere.

That’s okay but can it run minesweeper

  44. The power of Zen on April 17, 2021 at 12:21 am

Will quantum computing ever run at room temperature? Quantum biological processes take place at environment temperature such as photo synthesis and Robin magnetic field navigation so I’m wondering why that is?

It must use nickel,to have a True Quantum Computer !
To focus function at 12 dimensions. Bet you didn’t know that ! Because it needs Residence ! I’m smart

  48. Jimmy Clarke on April 17, 2021 at 12:30 am

Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. (James 4:8 [KJV]) ### The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (II Peter 3:9 [KJV]) ### For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13 [KJV]) ### For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23 [KJV])

What speed does a quantum computer compute at

  50. Anthony Paduano on April 17, 2021 at 12:31 am

Now let 1 and 0 be a superimposed bit by itself .. that’s three .. and then when you’re ready, add the null set as a bit .. use the place as nothingness/empty set so it reads it as a fourth .. then it will be quanary or whatever word that would be .. trinary comes next .. the exponential expansion will gives us a technological explosion of a magnitude I’m not sure of .. but it’s there .. already ..
