  1. Play at 2x speed. on April 6, 2021 at 11:32 pm

Buttons will feel smaller because they arent exactly the same dpad style

  2. Bnb Combo on April 6, 2021 at 11:32 pm

Am I able to buy a controller with d pad installed?

  3. I9IIEIIYIIEIIS on April 6, 2021 at 11:33 pm

Please make a version where the ridge that keeps buttons from falling out of the controller is maybe 1/16 of an inch taller, or thicker. So basically once the controller is together, the 4 contact points will be roughly halfway pressed in. Then the buttons will be more sensitive, and it’ll be much easier to do circular motions in fighting games, and other d-pad heavy games.

  4. K. WREX on April 6, 2021 at 11:35 pm

Do you know how much Input lag battle beaver PS4 controllers have when connected to pc?

  5. Kal-El KilleddaBAT on April 6, 2021 at 11:36 pm

Ooh. Good thing a watch the video before installing. Was wondering what that little clear dome was for. Oof! Question: What’s the material? And would you be able to suggest what paint if I wish to custom paint the buttons. Please. Thank you.

  6. NINA ROBES on April 6, 2021 at 11:39 pm

The button quality of brand new ps4 controllers feels bad.. like soggy used controller bad. Is that silicon pad of a higher quality than what originally comes inside the control? The original controllers that came with the first console release(the ones people complained about because rubber on the sticks and the triggers would break) actually felt better than the new controllers, in my opinion.

  7. SFB-86 on April 6, 2021 at 11:40 pm

thank you very much, the installation was easy thanks to this detailed demonstration.

  8. Cameron Venegas on April 6, 2021 at 11:42 pm

  10. Jacob Jessup on April 6, 2021 at 11:46 pm

Thank you for the great video. I was nervous to do this but watching you made it easy!

  11. Jule Knight on April 6, 2021 at 11:46 pm

i feel like this defeats the point of having a d-pad

  12. Tristan Melgarejo on April 6, 2021 at 11:48 pm

Worthless company that doesn’t stand behind their products after literally 30 days.

  13. Lucy Hearts on April 6, 2021 at 11:50 pm

Knowing me I’d probably mess this process up. Is it possible to just send my controller to you guys and you do it for me, obviously Id pay for it

  14. BustaNAugusta on April 6, 2021 at 11:51 pm

Aight, I had to edit my comment for an update.
I originally complained about the shipping as it took about two weeks (any total recall fans?!) to arrive. That however wasn’t because of Battle Beaver but long in transit from carrier.

So while waiting I modified one of my controllers to replicate what the Battle Beaver setup does. In short, my homemade setup was better than factory d pad in that I got zero missed inputs, but nailing down the proper button height and button play (wiggling) isn’t as good as the Battle Beaver set. I prefer theirs over mine.

About the difference in gameplay or quality of life…HUGE UPGRADE! I’m always very skeptical as is why I made my own. These are a perfect bridge between a controller and arcade stick, I play both. How you ask? Like a stick, you have to actually input the command without any shortcuts. It’s not hard at all nor hard to adjust to with maybe 5-10min of practice to break old habits. It’s nowhere near the learning curve of a stick, no missed inputs or accidental inputs like a controller from the pad being one whole piece. d3 with Bryan Fury (I’m a Tekken player) doesn’t turn into an unwanted snake edge nor do qcf 3,4. Dark upper/ewgf are more consistent as are qcf/b moves now. Absolutely love these and will definitely do the same to PS5 controller. This video is also perfect on the installation.

Do you all not have the ps4 controller screwdrivers anymore because when I went to your website under the tool section, all I saw was the screwdrivers for the Xbox one, do they also work on the ps4 controller, too?

  16. khalid m on April 6, 2021 at 11:52 pm

  23. S Argumedo on April 6, 2021 at 11:58 pm

Hello, I own a Battle Beaver controller and I couldn’t be happier. One thing I would like is to upgrade it to interchangeable thumb sticks. I also have the 4 re- map buttons on back. I would also like to see if I can move the bottom left /right buttons upwards? Please let me know if you can help? Thanks for a great product.

  24. D B on April 6, 2021 at 11:58 pm

  27. Loves Sauce on April 7, 2021 at 12:06 am

  28. stefan milutinovic on April 7, 2021 at 12:07 am

can this be done on ps1/ps2 controler?

  29. Jule Knight on April 7, 2021 at 12:07 am

doesn’t this make it not really a d-pad?

  30. Sage Derrig on April 7, 2021 at 12:07 am

Thinking of getting these for Tony Hawk. Never realized how awful the dpad was until I’ve botched combos because of the unresponsiveness.

  31. Stfu flehvr on April 7, 2021 at 12:08 am

Hey! If I send you guys my dualshock ps4 controller you guys can customize it? Sorry for asking I just heard sumone say it.

  33. stevesquick92 on April 7, 2021 at 12:10 am

Are these buttons 3d printed? They seem rather rough and unfinished on the surface area. Almost as if I can see the printer lines. They just don’t look "finished."

  34. caracal82 on April 7, 2021 at 12:10 am

holy cow this is exactly what I needed for my MK11 pad. Where can I buy that button kit?

  35. CasualboiZX on April 7, 2021 at 12:12 am

  37. Javian Brown on April 7, 2021 at 12:16 am

Is taking the controller apart just as easy if i have a battle beaver with increased tension and smart triggers?

  38. Jon Doe on April 7, 2021 at 12:16 am

Will this give me more of a click instead of a rubber click

  39. Savage Mugen on April 7, 2021 at 12:18 am

My d-pad randomly presses Up and I can’t get it to stop, what do I do? This is after I’ve installed the dpad buttons

  40. Paul Keating on April 7, 2021 at 12:20 am

The hardest part for me was finding all the pieces, despite them being nicely lined up, against the wall.

  41. E.J on April 7, 2021 at 12:20 am

  47. S Argumedo on April 7, 2021 at 12:25 am

Hello, Hey can you explain to me what the beaver tails back buttons do and look like. How to install. I currently own a 4 button PS4 controller and wanted to upgrade my buttons? Any info is appreciated. Thanks

  48. Salty Kombat on April 7, 2021 at 12:27 am

    I’m scared to do this

  49. Moonsover326 on April 7, 2021 at 12:29 am

I put 4 thin spacers between the 4 buttons and the rubber cushion. i cut 4 pieces out of an old plastic id card. Now its perfection! Especially for fighting games.

  50. Joshua Alt on April 7, 2021 at 12:29 am

I am happy I paid for you guys to do it for me because I wouldn’t want to mess it up. Thanks Again.
