Next time use automative painting masking tape, they usea special celulose glue that prevents those issues

  2. Whatt Thafuk on March 29, 2021 at 11:13 pm

You can tell they arent stainless steel bc they have no reflection

I have a question about that pain could you still put a magnet on that dishwasher

  13. Lonnie Santrock on March 29, 2021 at 11:24 pm

Wow you mean they really threw in the 25-cent foam brush?

  14. Diana Phillips on March 29, 2021 at 11:24 pm

Try a labeling machine on silver tape. The text sizes are adjustable.

  15. Mike Graf on March 29, 2021 at 11:28 pm

Bummed, I just found this and it is unavailable.

  16. Notta Bidenfan on March 29, 2021 at 11:29 pm

  17. Jazmene Jackson on March 29, 2021 at 11:29 pm

try diagonal direction for the words on the dishwasher

  18. Deb on March 29, 2021 at 11:30 pm

Looks great! You could decoupage the words above the buttons.

I do not recommend using spray paint and enclosed space. I developed allergy-induced asthma due to this. And I only went to painting something for the kids to play inside. Being in that small area for a short time was my downfall! I have a new stainless oven and microwave and have been looking to paint the dishwasher. Refrigerator is white but it has built-in cabinet front so there’s a little white to paint

Ask for Frog tape next time

I can’t believe how great that looks! I found that Rustoleum spray paint in aged bronze, antique gold, and copper does an AMAZING makeover to knobs, hinges, mirrors and chandiliers, lamps etc. I bought outdated shiny chandeliers at a thrift shop for under five bucks! I changed out glass globes…choosing new styles from tons of globes at thrift shop at 50 cents a globe! They look amazing and were awed over many times! I also did curtain rods and hooks, etc. The knobs and drawer pulls I wanted for kitchen were 10-12 dollars a piece and I needed 24! Found two BAGFULLS of identical knobs and pulls at a Goodwill for 3 bucks a bag, all screws included! They were shiny silver and I needed a more aged, dark matte finish. So tried Rustoeum aged bronze spray paint….came out BEAUTIFUL! Didnt scratch off either! So six bucks for bags of knobs and pulls, and five bucks for spray paint….saved me hundreds! Also took off cream colored plastic light switch covers and outlet covers plus screws, spray painted them all in aged bronze….couldnt tell them from the 12 dollar apiece metal ones! Again, saved hundreds! Going to check this stainless paint you did…wondering if it comes in the matte dark grey stainless steel color and in a heat resistant appliance paint kit for ovens? Love your style and you sure are great at painting and carpentry, very steady hand…you go, girl!!!

Here are a couple tips from a "serial" house flipper…if you have petroleum jelly, you can smear it over glass areas. Use a candle to rub on edges of wood cabinets, window sills etc. for tight painting situations. If you get paint spray or touch cabinets with dab of paint…spray wipes off with removal of petroleum and dried dab of paint comes off as you gently scrap off candle wax. I use a piece of styrofoam to stick screws upright in so I can spray paint the heads easily and let dry without rolling around or getting stuck together or messed up.

  26. Ms Bangtidy on March 29, 2021 at 11:38 pm

  27. Shane on March 29, 2021 at 11:39 pm

    Good job 👍

  28. headfangs on March 29, 2021 at 11:39 pm

in the future, use green Frog tape to mask, works a lot better than the blue painter’s tape

  29. James M on March 29, 2021 at 11:39 pm

Great job! Are you like… 17?! Lmao

  30. Adrienne Jones on March 29, 2021 at 11:40 pm

It came out really well, I might go ahead and paint my white fridge and deep freezer

  31. Dawn Cawthra on March 29, 2021 at 11:40 pm

Transfer paper would work wonderful, it’s basically what they use to put the cycle names on it. You create them on your computer and print them in transfer paper. They work like fake tattoos, with a clear top coat they are permanent.

What about a Brother P-Touch labeler? I love those. I have three of them and have given them as gifts.

  35. JR303 on March 29, 2021 at 11:42 pm

Lol diy people always think what they do is so great and to others it looks horrible. Tbh this product would be good for rentals.

  36. Kim Donally on March 29, 2021 at 11:44 pm

you need a cricut or a friend with a cricut 😉 you might be able to order a plate with the words on it for a reasonable price

  37. R. Powell on March 29, 2021 at 11:45 pm

Looks great but you spray paining inside a house with no protective mask and are hence trashing your lungs with toxic paint. Not a good idea.

  38. Joe Pena on March 29, 2021 at 11:46 pm

Use a label maker with black print on clear tape. Can print them all out on one strip.

  39. Eden Umbal on March 29, 2021 at 11:46 pm

it came out great girl. Good job. I just cleaned our stainless steel appliances yesterday and they’re still good. I don’t have to this since we are already using stainless in the kitchen but thanks for sharing.

  42. _Liberty _ on March 29, 2021 at 11:53 pm

It looks very good! For the words on the dishwasher you can costumed stickers and put it there. Just and idea, there are some business that do that for very cheap.

Find someone with a vinyl cutter to make the lettering for the dishwasher.

  45. Travis Smith on March 29, 2021 at 11:58 pm

Impressed by the paint’s look. Could do this … or just buy new on sale and sell the old ones.

  46. ARivers135 on March 29, 2021 at 11:59 pm

I have a Dymo label maker and you can get the clear label strips and type the words on there they have different sizes to choose from, that may help you best if you haven’t already come up eith something. Hope this helps!
