Nintendo ($NTDOY) – Quick Stock Analysis

I think Nintendo holds a special spot in all of our hearts from being a kid or having the heart of a child firing up their Nintendo Switch to play some Mario based game to pass the time. On February 11th’s live stream that is why we pulled them up on YCharts to take a look at this company’s fundamentals.

Since the release of the Nintendo Switch its like $NTDOY has seen new light in the gaming industry. They are one of the select few in the gaming world that has ever offered their core games at a discount along with their console which has been holding strong at $299 respectively and capturing the hearts of all ages.

But how does this company look in the stock market. We used our 8 Pillar Stock Analysis to take a look at this company’s fundamentals to see just that on how valued they were in the market.

If everything hinges on the Switch being the thing that carries them, how much further can a console this age take them to new revenue down the line. New games are there but can this growth and performance last? Time will tell.

Great video, I love Nintendo, in my opinion their costumers are are loyal to the company, especially for young / children costumers, and that’s a big moat for them.

I really like your video’s. I watch a lot of hype youtubers talking about hype stocks, this feels a lot better. I agree with all your analyses on overrated stocks like tesla and cciv but I own nio since 15 dollars. I have 1 question about that: are all these price targets of 70 – 80 dollar nonsense? I assume that the banks and institutions are not insane right?

This came at the perfect time for me, was checking out this company before. However seems like PE is at 38ish rn

Edit: Yahoo Finance showed their PE ratio as 38 which didn’t make sense to me, so I looked at their financials and calculated it myself – turns out it’s roughly 16 (or around 14 considering their assets>liabilities). I know it doesn’t seem like a lot but as a novice investor I’m happy that I was able to take a critical look and manage to find the actual PE myself. Thank you guys for teaching me some stuff <3

I usually use Yahoo finance for stock analysis. However, when I look at other websites for NTDOY’s financial statements their all different from website to website. I dont know which website is accurate. why is this the case?

Love me some Nintendo. They’re literally the Disney of video games. Lots of historic video game icons.

Nintendo its not about the hardware but the software, companies tried to compete Nintedo in their sector and the fail. their profit its not the consoles but the games. and its nintendo who raise generations we will buy everything they sell no brain
