    The new AMD Ryzen 9 5950X has 16 cores and 32 threads whereas the Intel core i9 10th gen has still 10 cores and 20 threads

    I never understood these laptop processors compared to processors used on the mobile. I was always in a state of mind that Intel is better, now I have changed my mind. A good video for general knowledge.

    In a laptop, it doesn’t matter which processor you have as long as it serves your purpose, any laptop will heat equally. What matters is which processor handles it better, by throttling, choosing to shut down etc. In a desktop other hand, Intel is good for multithread processes, and AMD is good for gaming. However, if you are using an Intel cpu, make sure you have VERY GOOD COOLING. Because Intel cpus are known to run hot as hell, and it causes throttling, crashing etc. AMD cpus run relatively cooler, and normal cooling should get you by. Although both of them are subject to airflow, space for airflow, dust/moth collection, placement of the case, room temps etc.

    @geekyranjit

    Ryzen has won no doubt, but in long term usage like after 3 to 4 yrs which one is likely to be more reliable ?

  27. Jason Abraham on May 11, 2021 at 1:12 am

    I use the ryzen 5 3400g for playing games(with no dedicated graphics)…
    I get enough power to play csgo, fortnite,Apex legends,warframe…but in the same price u can get i5….with is not a good CPU at all n the integrated graphics sucks…so I would say Intel is overrated
