Loved your kitchen tour. Looks like there might be enough space over your microwave for a shelf to place your toaster oven. We have a toaster oven and it gets a lot more use than our stove oven or the microwave.

the fish cooking drawer blew my mind

  3. juridicus on February 26, 2021 at 9:59 pm

I mean, I’m subscribing and I have zero interest in Japan. I just want to watch YOU! Lol. Too bad you aren’t gay!

Japanese apartment kitchens suck. The (electric) stoves like to turn themselves off after an hour, which makes slow cooking things a pain. Cutting/prep space is severly limited. The only good thing is the large sink, but I would quite happily sacrifice half of that for more chopping space.

  5. ViewJP on February 26, 2021 at 10:00 pm

bruh, you cutting space is bigger than mine lol

    Thanks for watching guys!
To answer two questions I’ve seen asked a couple of times:
    1. No, the door of the previous fridge couldn’t be mounted to the other side.
    2. The top of the microwave develops heat, so we can’t put the toaster directly on top. I would have to build some shelf-like contraption for to allow some space in between the two, but currently there are other more important things in life (such as making videos about our kitchen.)

Thanks for the look around your charming and functional kitchen. Wishing you many happy meals ʕ •́؈•̀ ʔ

I was impressed with the "exact portion" rice dispenser. and the policy of once you purchase a drinking water bottle from the grocery store you can refill it for free.
you must be in your mother in law’s favor with the gifting of the fridge that didn’t fit in your apartment!

How u really got the fridge door changed 🤔🤔🤔

I like the title how to SURVIVE haha 😂
It was the first time i really thought about that now… When I was in Japan I never really cooked. I mean I had a kitchen but I just stayed for one month and couldn’t use the tech things since I lack of Japanese haha… Now that I actually found out that small thing is a grill…. I NEED IT!! haha but I would not want to give up my oven either 😂

Hi.. is the red microwave oven(sharp) can be use for bake bread and cake? Thank you

  13. Lin j on February 26, 2021 at 10:15 pm

I love that fish oven, I am in USA and I still couldn’t find it here.

  14. fun-with-nickline on February 26, 2021 at 10:15 pm

I like it,,, tiny and cute😊

  15. Jonathan Vo on February 26, 2021 at 10:15 pm

Hi, where does the rice cooker steam go since the rice cooker sits inside a cabinet?

  16. B959695 on February 26, 2021 at 10:18 pm

Can you show us how you make german bread?

  17. Patricia L Jones on February 26, 2021 at 10:19 pm

You have a better stove/ grill setup. In college my kitchen was about that size but the refrigerator was smaller. The stove was a joke…two eyes you couldn’t use at the same time. The oven was tiny too.
So think I could deal with yours. 😊😏

You can change the door on any fridge, to swing from the other side, in about 10 minutes. Just an FYI. I love your videos

  19. David Davidson on February 26, 2021 at 10:22 pm

I love these quick and dirty videos. Just my style.

  20. Haitai Amber on February 26, 2021 at 10:23 pm

In Okinawa we still have to pay to fill the bottles of drinking water at the grocery store. We thought it was free because we see some people use it without adding money. I still have’t figured that out yet.

  21. KastaLimpa on February 26, 2021 at 10:25 pm

A fridge that opens from both sides….this is the work of the devil!!!

  22. mediacoregroupph on February 26, 2021 at 10:26 pm

Its a dual latch refridgerator door, why open it from there???

  23. Daniel Kim on February 26, 2021 at 10:27 pm

Now use your very Japanese kitchen to make Schnitzel and Spaetzle and then use your oven to bake Scwarzwaldtorte! Or maybe make some miso soup if that is easier. Also the way you struggled with that fridge door, to be honest, was very Bavarian, not gonna lie.

  24. Gustav Barnard on February 26, 2021 at 10:27 pm

    love the video

  25. md.ahsanul kabir on February 26, 2021 at 10:29 pm

Me: Omg this is huge! *cries in 1K Kitchensize*

  27. Winter Karasu on February 26, 2021 at 10:34 pm

..Small kitchen nice and clean (except for the toaster )✌
500 Yen for the container and the drinking water is unlimited?? that’s a good deal.

  28. Elbachir Abdelkader on February 26, 2021 at 10:34 pm

    No dishwasher !? ⊙_⊙
But I hate doing dishes -_-#

  29. GTV Japan on February 26, 2021 at 10:34 pm

Do you live in a house or Mansion? In my house before I bought it the kitchen and living were separate rooms but they tore down the wall and now I have space for stuff

  30. Adrija Bhattacharya on February 26, 2021 at 10:35 pm

He’s a super clever man. When he notices that he cannot handle the fridge properly, he sends it to his mother in law, an old woman. Do you think she would be able to handle it without any expert’s help?

  31. G M on February 26, 2021 at 10:35 pm

Pretty sure all fridges can have the hinge/open direction switched round…

  32. I Y on February 26, 2021 at 10:37 pm

Did you freeze natto? ( ;∀;)

  33. Meghna Kapoor on February 26, 2021 at 10:37 pm

    I really liked it

  34. Adrija Bhattacharya on February 26, 2021 at 10:38 pm

I would better live in a 1000 year old egyptian kitchen rather than to wake up and find myself in a JAPANESE KITCHEN.

  35. Nicky Skye on February 26, 2021 at 10:39 pm

Fascinating. Having lived in many countries, but not Japan, it’s so interesting to see how a typical Japanese kitchen looks and functions. Thanks so much for making this video.

  36. Satan Stan on February 26, 2021 at 10:40 pm

It is Wednesday already (in Japan at least)… are you fine?

  37. juridicus on February 26, 2021 at 10:41 pm

Those microwave and conventional combo ovens are cool. I wonder why they don’t exist outside of Japan.

  42. Reldies on February 26, 2021 at 10:53 pm

Where can one find that red rice thingy?
