You didn’t mention the offline, line interactive and online ups.

  13. Y. Delgado on April 3, 2020 at 7:01 pm

Its this unit the same as Maruson ups? I see many companies are just slapping there name on the unit and calling it there own. There must be a company offering private label for these UPS systems. Hmm.

  14. David Arnold on April 3, 2020 at 7:01 pm

I searched ALL OVER Tigerdirect and could hardly find an Xfinity UPS. When I did find one they were out of stock so…. How good can they be if they no longer offer them?

I have PC which using power supply 750w , what is the right UPS for it?

  31. Carl Berger on April 3, 2020 at 7:21 pm

I just went to tigerdirect.com and searched and there are NO listings for a UPS named ULTRA or Xfinity. They do not exist any longer. Also, I agree that those Tiger eyes were a distraction!

  35. Wamups on April 3, 2020 at 7:29 pm

Hello! Do you know that there is a mobile application called Wamups that allows you to monitor your UPS to avoid unexpected problems with batteries? It allows you to receive cut alerts on your mobile, online battery status, power cut alerts, geolocation, among other new features.

Here you have a link to get notice of what you can do with the app. http://bit.ly/2GsoDQQ

    Regards!

Is a 650va ups enough for a 650 watts cpu with 144hz monitor?

  37. Timotius Aditya on April 3, 2020 at 7:30 pm

Why dont ups hold longer than gaming laptop battery?

  38. Shayne Williams on April 3, 2020 at 7:31 pm

He may know what he’s talking about with ups’ but the way he talks about computers.. iunno… Calling computers "cpus", saying gamers have rocket level rigs, iunno LOL I just don’t know

  39. Givemethejob on April 3, 2020 at 7:32 pm

Why do the manufacturers lie? APC 950VA 480 watts should be 480 watts per hour. It says on the box 350 watts for 4 minutes LIES!!!! that is not 480 watts per hour.

  40. Dubey on April 3, 2020 at 7:32 pm

That tiger is too much distracting

  41. Scotty Thompson on April 3, 2020 at 7:33 pm

The main problem with UPSs is not whats plugged in to them failing, but the UPS itself failing in a storm. You can smell the burned electronics in it, To me much advertising does not address this at ll ! ! !

My pc pulls 789Watts from the wall. (240v UK) I have a 1000W powersuply. What VA should I get?

  46. Dreamy on April 3, 2020 at 7:40 pm

    Thanks for the informative video

  47. Shane71170 on April 3, 2020 at 7:40 pm

This video has nothing to do with choosing the right UPS, you never explain how to choose. I am running a video system that uses 80 watts. What size do I need for 1 hour of run time?

  48. Eitan Tal on April 3, 2020 at 7:40 pm

    explanation starts at 1:35

  49. Yano Rivera on April 3, 2020 at 7:42 pm

Can tell you why it’s important, it saved my gaming night during a power outage, and if you want something practical and powerful, stick to 1800 watts

Here’s an exact reason why it’s important as I’ve recalled it in my blog

Hi thanks for the information. I’m installing security cameras. How long would a tiger ups 1000 keep the about 7 cameras, a router and modem running for after power failure??
