Please report "Kitchen with Amna" to youtube. She should warn or inform the viewers at the beginning of her video that it "includes paid promotion". She is promoting Haier Appliances without letting the viewers know at the beginning of the video. Its against youtube rules and community guidelines.

Tesla and Chinese Govt. are best example of humanity that brings the technology to the mass.
Otherwise technology imprisoned for money in the hands of greedy capitalist like JPMorgan, Edison, British Capatilists…by ways of royalties and patents to limit the reach of technology to general public.
Love to Tesla and Chinese Govt. Chinese Companies for their hard and smart work for production and world economy.

I don’t believe everything this documentary said. I’m sure Haier did some shifty stuff. It’s state owned.

This explains the absolutely garbage GE dishwasher I purchased from Home Depot. Didn’t work on day one and GE/Haier won’t back it up. Damn communist trash.

It seems very strange that Jeff Immelt took Haier’s offer. Judging from the info we are just now learning about Immelt’s management decisions and fraud, I’d say he was a terrible CEO and I wouldn’t be surprised if he got a huge kickback from Haier by selling GE Appliances at a discount. Poor GE investors.

Our 20 year old GE fridge finally kicked the bucket and went cold yesterday. Went to the appliance store and finally settled on a Haier fridge. Found out thru this video that my fridge is related to GE

We own a Haier fridge, we did not knew that it was a Chinese company while buying, now i do, but even though Chinese products are usually associated with poor quality, Haier is an exception, our fridge works really well, and we never had a problem with it.
I will recommend Haier refrigerators to anyone wishing to buy one.

I don’t understand why companies need to add a computer to a fridge or oven. And to market it as 4G/5G innovation. Absolute bullshit. It just adds another point of failure…. which doesn’t contribute to core functionality in the first place.

I purchased a Haier washing machine 3 years back and once out of warranty it just had a pcb to be replaced as said by their authorized service man. I purchased it for $139 and they charged $70 for repair. They don’t have good products; and I guess they don’t test them. In the long run if you buy from this company you end up paying more. I have the receipts in case any one want to see.

Haier paid 5.5 Billion dollars for the GE logo and GE still has control or at least at Appliance Park in Louisville Kentucky (I know because line 8 is where I work that was shown within the first 1:30 of video).

They haven’t changed management which was the cause of why GE sold out. They allow(ed) employees to drink on line, watch their cellphones all day while the line is running.
It’s ran with Second hand quality and zero respect for the employees as long as those numbers go out the door for their product bonuses.

Haier won’t last 15 years before they try to sellout or close these building down and relocate.
Follow up on Haier in the next year and ask why they shutdown building 5 aka refrigerator line? Which I’ll tell you that there’s negative profit from that line. Which will cause the elimination of nearly 300 employees.

Screw GE, Screw Haier, they care Nothing for their people.

It’s a lot more profitable for GE to make mass destruction weapons than harmless consumer appliances; and also gives US federal government the opportunity to tax american by imposing high tariff on foreign made appliances.

It is a PR piece , not to take any merits from the Chinese, over Americans and how GE lost its ways. I would love to get posters on feedback from German makers such as Miele , Liebherr, Bosch . And top tier appliances such as Viking.

Great documentary, just goes to show its all about the people and giving them accountability and ownership. If UK manufactures adopted this strategy 20+ years ago I’m sure the nation would have more larger scale manufacturing.
