I paid off my debt last week! I literally couldn’t thank y’all enough either for the inspiration to get my ducks in a row!!

  2. Bella Brooks May on March 23, 2021 at 10:59 pm

Oh I am so excited to watch this one!!

  3. Nancy Peteja on March 23, 2021 at 11:00 pm

    Cool beans y’all.💖 😉👍

  4. Beverly Lang on March 23, 2021 at 11:01 pm

Love it!! Great video Cullen and Katie. You should have more followers than 555.

  5. SnapesPrincess4 on March 23, 2021 at 11:03 pm

I love watching these updates on a budget vlogs!! They are so awesome!! Giving great ideas too bc we will be looking for a house in about 6 months or so.

  6. Amanda D on March 23, 2021 at 11:04 pm

I would change out the towel bars in Brooks’ bathroom and definitely frame out the mirrors. People go gaga over bathrooms and kitchens!

  7. Stephanie Thomasson on March 23, 2021 at 11:07 pm

YouTube put your “we’re selling our house” video in my suggestions queue and I watched it. From the old house, from when the kids were little. Cullen took stuff to storage. Y’all don’t still have stuff in storage since you’ve done konmari, do you? You could sell it and put the $ towards the debt…. and you wouldn’t be paying for the unit monthly, either.

  8. Kate Murphy on March 23, 2021 at 11:14 pm

No one should have medical debt!

  9. Liz Hill on March 23, 2021 at 11:15 pm

Cullen’s Ariel shirt matched his intro diddy 😆 🎶 Look at these snips 🎶🎵

Huge, insane 1099(c)s after negotiating out OHS and NICU debts for my girls. The 1099(c)s were too much; I just cried. I didn’t think there was any way out of that, but I reached out and got help to deal with the IRS, and I actually can’t wait until July 15 to get it off our shoulders. That feeling of getting blindsided when you think you are on the right path is tough, really tough to push through instead of crumbling into a ball and giving up.

    Pure Beauty!

  12. Jen E on March 23, 2021 at 11:18 pm

Your renovations look great! I love how the dishwasher turned out! It looked like you had to split it. Was there a seam? Does it show if there was? Oh, I got into my Dave Ramsey books again. I’m totally out of debt too and I have my emergency fund plus a little more. Now, I’m trying to understand investing so I don’t have to work until I die. 🙏🏻😀

  13. Eve Fields on March 23, 2021 at 11:19 pm

Walmart had cheap towels too I don’t do white I do black at my house because I am a hairstylist and hair color on black towels doesn’t show!

  14. Julianne Brook on March 23, 2021 at 11:19 pm

Love this!!! I really don’t want you to sell this house. It’s so cool seeing how happy you are becoming doing all this while paying debt off!!!! Xxxx

  15. Brianna Marcellais on March 23, 2021 at 11:21 pm

We had a similar microwave opening in our first house we just put a microwave in there, but never finished the trim. This deeply bothered my dad, and not us one bit lol. Before we listed our house, my dad framed it out properly 😂

  16. That Daly Life on March 23, 2021 at 11:21 pm

That’s an amazing find! For someone walking through your house I highly doubt they would notice that it isn’t really stainless Steele.

  18. Lindsey Sommerfelt on March 23, 2021 at 11:22 pm

It’s a start, but since the pandemic started, I paid off my student loans! No more! Ahh. Feels awesome! Paid off any small bills we had too. Just stuck on how to even start to tackle our medical debt.

  19. Robin Nieto on March 23, 2021 at 11:22 pm

We painted our refrigerator black to match our other appliances. We used appliance paint. It turned out great. We eventually replaced our frig and dishwasher. The frig we got (stainless steel) was one sale and the savings paid for the dishwasher which was also on sale. You guys have done an amazing job!

  20. Brittany K on March 23, 2021 at 11:23 pm

The house is looking amazing and it’s crazy it’s taking such a little amount of money to make a big impact! 🙌 Proud of y’all! My shurline edger came and I’m excited to test it out this weekend 😂! I have more priming to do. ❤️

  21. Mama Andie on March 23, 2021 at 11:24 pm

What a difference that makes!! Looks amazing guys!

  22. Trisha Templer on March 23, 2021 at 11:24 pm

Often the dishwasher comes with various other color plates. It’s a little late now but I’m wondering if yours have the extra color plates behind the black cover.

  23. Christine Gollwitzer on March 23, 2021 at 11:24 pm

You should have used a sprayer with soap Water. Spray the surface with soap Water put the foil on it. Now you can change directions etc then you press the water out with a plasticcard

  24. Cara Barbieri on March 23, 2021 at 11:26 pm

When we first moved into our house we wanted to replace all of the door knobs because they were the original 1989 brass knobs that came with our house. We had friends who said that it cost them over $300 to buy all the knobs for their house, and our house is quite a bit bigger than theirs. So I came up with the idea to buy one door knob per paycheck. $20 every 2 weeks was a lot easier to budget for than over $300 all at once. It took a decent amount of time, maybe like 6 months, but eventually we got them all replaced! Maybe you guys could do something similar if you want to replace more of the heat vent covers?

  25. duckyone20 on March 23, 2021 at 11:32 pm

I think it is so interesting that Cullen hates the crunching numbers but is full on into the saving money and finding even more savings. This Patti, definitely NOT a painter lol

  26. Nanne on March 23, 2021 at 11:33 pm

Spraying water and dishwashing soap solution before putting the "plastic" could have helped with the air bubbles 🤔

  27. Suzanna Menshouse on March 23, 2021 at 11:34 pm

Y’all have inspired my husband and I so much! We started paying off debt in April and today we were able to pay off two of our credit cards!! I’m so excited to continue this journey!

  28. Kacey Turvey on March 23, 2021 at 11:35 pm

  29. Sarah Knight on March 23, 2021 at 11:36 pm

You guys are doing such a great job! Super smart decisions!

  30. DSherman50 on March 23, 2021 at 11:36 pm

Awesome job guys. Cullen you, like your sister and your mom, love a bargain and I do too! It’s just that extra special something that you don’t get paying full price. I always used to tell my kids, I can make a dollar out of 15 cents. I wish I were as handy as you two are. The vent covers were just beautiful, very classy.

  31. Minimal Zebra on March 23, 2021 at 11:37 pm

    The appliances look good.

  32. Lori Keenom on March 23, 2021 at 11:37 pm

Buy the cover for the dishwasher

  33. Tony T on March 23, 2021 at 11:37 pm

what is katies hair salon hours 😀

  34. Stephanie Porter on March 23, 2021 at 11:39 pm

I love all your upgrades! You guys really scored on your oven and microwave. I think the air vent covers really add a finished look to your kitchen and bathroom. It’s amazing what a few changes can do!

  35. Alexandria Wonta on March 23, 2021 at 11:44 pm

My husband and I are in the process to become debt free other than our mortgage.. Our wedding loan ends this month but we then have 3 credit cards a catalogue and overdraft to payback as well as trying to make our home safe because it’s old and falling to bits

  36. Marla Sturgill on March 23, 2021 at 11:44 pm

If you have other vent covers that need replacing just sand the rust off and spray paint them the color that you want and they look good as new and cheaper! I’ve done that in the past, just another way of saving money…

  38. M S on March 23, 2021 at 11:45 pm

Its amazing what a difference those changes make!! I’m super impressed, wouldn’t have thought of most of those things!

And, thank you again for these videos, I’ve SO enjoyed them so far and they really are so inspiring – I’m SO happy to say we just sent in the last medical debt payment that we had in collections last week!!! Planning to pay off two more small bills in July and have a game plan going in the Every Dollar App to pay off a few others….its such a huge relief to see progress and a light at the end of the tunnel. We’ve got a long way to go but I feel like this has put me in a whole new, better, state of mind and I love it.

Speaking of "divine intervention" or things doing into your lap… I was just approved for supplemental insurance so I know we won’t have additional medical debt when we bring our fourth and last child into the world soon and my husband just had a great job fall into his lap that made him and our budget much happier 🙌 thanks again ❤

  39. natalielawyerchick on March 23, 2021 at 11:46 pm

I have one appliance that’s white but it’s my oven. So I’m afraid to add anything to it due to the heat

  40. Meggadegs on March 23, 2021 at 11:47 pm

You have done a great job. If you can possibly find the dollars to buy the plate for the dishwasher I would 100% do that. If spotted, it might place a bit of an off opinion with a prospective buyer. Way to go for your Facebook market place purchases though. That’s great. We’ve literally just started Bs 7 … it’s been a journey but feeling good x

  41. Life with Lizzie on March 23, 2021 at 11:47 pm

I have been following along and love all the small changes you are making in a budget. I recently repainted my kitchen cabinets and wow what a world of difference. With paint and new handles it cost less than $50. I had the darkest wood cabinets and now they are bright white. I have been working on paying down debt and thought that a “new” kitchen was out of reach

  42. jenbowling on March 23, 2021 at 11:48 pm

Y’all make a great team!! The vent cover update was genius! Everything looks great!

  43. Elisabet Montalvo Coulter on March 23, 2021 at 11:49 pm

For your own house I think it’s just fine. And before you relist you could just buy the $150 door.

  44. cricketphx on March 23, 2021 at 11:50 pm

If you are going to sell, buy the dishwasher cover.

  45. Stephanie Mitchell on March 23, 2021 at 11:51 pm

Logos on appliances can be removed and put back on! 👍

  46. Araceli Polendo Sandoval on March 23, 2021 at 11:52 pm

    20 bucks!

  48. Katie Woodruff on March 23, 2021 at 11:54 pm

Thank you so much for sharing your story. I also started following Dave Ramsey since January and have also been really wanting to move but it hasn’t worked out. I’m disappointed but am waiting for God’s timing 🙂

  49. DSherman50 on March 23, 2021 at 11:56 pm

Can you leave a link for the $4 white bath towels at Target? The only ones I see are the Room Essentials brand. Is that it?

  50. Kim Mcelligott on March 23, 2021 at 11:56 pm
