hello i currently have a chinese switch, how do i change the language? i cant seem to find the settings for it

  3. KaulK on April 13, 2021 at 11:43 pm

Just a question, can the Chinese Nintendo switch run games from other countries? I live in New Zealand and my grandparents live in China, and they sent me a switch for my birthday. So I was just wondering whether if the Chinese switch can run games from different countries. And if so, will it be English? I can’t stand a word of Chinese.

Great video ! I am looking to buy a switch console from HK/Japan – would this be compatible to play in the UK?
I’ve read online where people say to get a plug adapter for 3prongs but others are saying that due to voltage differences it could impact the console .

Do you have any advice ?

  7. lokirohan domingo on April 13, 2021 at 11:53 pm

You wasted all of my time by talking for minutes and now playing the switch and talk again

  15. 장지원 on April 14, 2021 at 12:00 am

All you need to know about NS China: 1. ONLY Simplified Chinese in it. 2.Can run all the physical cards but CANNOT link to the international servers, which means you can’t play online and download any DLCs(but normally updates are OKAY). 3.NO international eshop, ONLY China eshop(you can just login with WeChat ). 4.Just China NS can run China game cards. Ps:Most of Chinese also play with normal NS consoles (HK ver. or JP ver.). Now, China NS is less than 2000 Yuan.

  16. Shadow Shadowcat on April 14, 2021 at 12:01 am

  20. OracleJ on April 14, 2021 at 12:05 am

Wish I would have seen your video before I bought mine haha I’m in Chengdu Sichuan . Bought the Tencent one a couple days ago. The open region switches seem to be a lot more expensive where I am at. Where did you orders your Japanese version from?

  21. king on April 14, 2021 at 12:05 am

Does the animal crossing on the Chinese switch still work? I heard that Animal Crossing got restricted in China so now I’m wondering if you can open the game on that switch

I’m curious know what actually released on the tencent/chinese switch. Ik animal crossing is released in china for sure do to the news about it.

  31. Paramvir on April 14, 2021 at 12:23 am

    Can u change the region

  32. S. S on April 14, 2021 at 12:24 am

Where can I get the HK/JP version? I am struggling so much

  33. S T on April 14, 2021 at 12:26 am

Just make sure you don’t buy the only three tencent game titles.(New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe, Super Mario Odyssey and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe). It won’t work on the global Nintendo switches. That Chinese copy of animal crossing is from Hong Kong/ Taiwan.

  34. Lise Dg on April 14, 2021 at 12:27 am

Hi, is it possible to jailbreak the Tencent switch? I got this version and am now stuck with limited functions….

  35. Tom on April 14, 2021 at 12:27 am

Out of curiosity, can the Tencent ver do local/wireless play with the global one?

  36. Professor Professorson on April 14, 2021 at 12:29 am

nice to see one up close before i buy. I think my switch is from Hong Kong. Can i change the language on any of the games that are for sale on Taobao? Most of them say the language is in Mandarin (中文) but i wondered if i can change the language to English as well?

  37. Clint Newton on April 14, 2021 at 12:31 am

I’m a foreigner living in China and was recently looking to buy a Switch. However based on what you’re saying and what I’m reading elsewhere only want to buy an imported version. Where are you able to find one here? And you still need VPN to make online functions work?

  38. asoman22 on April 14, 2021 at 12:32 am

Do you know where to buy English versions of games for NS here in China?

  39. Tombwarrior on April 14, 2021 at 12:33 am

Hi Michael, so the game also automatically in Chinese? Can you change to English instead?

  43. raidwolf on April 14, 2021 at 12:37 am

Thank you for this. I’m an American living & working near Shanghai, and I wasn’t sure if there’s a difference between “global” Switches and Chinese Switches (like cell phones). I’ll try looking up JP/HK versions on TaoBao.

  44. The Professional Amateur on April 14, 2021 at 12:37 am

Where can I buy animal crossing? I’m in Anhui.

  45. Felix Hamzah on April 14, 2021 at 12:37 am

Spent the whole day translating taobao reviews and looking up websites. Wish I had stumbled upon your video first. I too am a foreigner in China considering a Japanese Nintendo Switch. Could you share me the link where you bought yours? My wechat ID is hamzahfelix. Once again thank you for your godsend video.

Where can I order the Chinese switch ?

  47. David Alan Bates on April 14, 2021 at 12:40 am

Thanks for the review. I think it clears up a lot of uncertainties we had, and many of the big time YouTubers don’t seem to have experienced the Chinese Switch first hand. So they can only "talk" about it.

U mentioned that u plan to keep the Chinese Switch so you can have friends play together. Does that mean if I have say, Mario Kart on my Switch and a friend had Mario Kart on his Chinese switch, we can still play together in Local play? (not over the internet)

  48. Catalin Nicolcioiu on April 14, 2021 at 12:40 am
