    I’m glad I don’t need a power wall. I only had 2x 0,5sec outtake in Germany 2019. Only using a small 7Ah 12v UPS 300w for my home server.

    With the years of use, have you had any battery draw that made you replace a battery, and is there a, say, relay system to flip contact around so that the draw battery doesn’t get affected as bad? Or is that a nonissue in this system?

    For the life of me…I cant comprehend why family business folks and DIYer (like yourself) STAY in Califonris. Especially, living in a rental and possibly having to leave everything on the walls ( some laws may specify its now part of the house) You would be a perfect fit next door to NASCAR fans and shadetree mechanics.
    A perfect weekend would be wandering over to one neighbor and checking out a young man shoe horning a chevy 350 into an S10…grab a beer and wander over to check out whats new with Samba VW.. Voltage and current to an electric motor, oxygen and fuell to a carburetor …its all about being lean and rich feeding a powerplant.

    Wanted to ask, what’s the charge profile of that UPS and does it charge the 36v batteries with no problems or did you add some type of DC to DC converter to boost the V&A

    I have that same green cc cv 90v boost converter. Unintentionally you’d be surprised how much equipment we share. I bought that solar boost converter months ago and I’m just now seeing this video. I was introduced to it by Julian the YouTuber. As I’m watching this I’m wondering wouldn’t it be more efficient to Tail the logs of the UPS via FTP and use PWM controlled load balancing Mosfets for each 10S battery instead of just connecting them all in parallel where resistance is a constant balance. You would have to re-engineer the charging process but easy for minds like ours 👍😃

    strange that mister Jehu advertises these batteries after advising us in a previous videos to stick to well known brands. i bought similar hoverboard battery pack and the bms had no cell balancing , and some cells eventually got shorted.maybe i am wrong, and these have cell balancing capable bms , but the heat dissipation must be a problem since is covered in heat shrink plastic with no ventilation . buyers be aware !

    Love you videos ! Really wish your items weren’t out stock. My question, I don’t even know if you’ll see this, How did you deal with the BMS? Since those hover board batteries run in series within the packs, I read that you can’t put batteries in parallel if they’re already in series. I’d really appreciate and help, thanks in advance.

    So how many of these do I need to make sure I’m not over stressing them? 6??? I don’t want the UPS to be able to drain them faster than they can handle yet I don’t want to go overkill like you.

    I don’t need the capacity but I don’t want any risk of UPS pulling more than the batteries can handle especially since the equipment hooked up can easily peak into 10A but usual load is nowhere near that.

    Very nice. As there was a recall in Europe of these packs because there was a possibility of a faulty BMU. I could pick up a load for €5 a pack.
    Now I’ve got to search for a second hand 36V UPS.

    Also, I got a questions, can I use my Imax B6 to charge and discharge 6 18650 batteries in series at once using those 7 pins on the sidec? I havn’t found any video that deals with this yet.

    You should always house in ULC rated panels , proper fusing and grounding no touch voltage.

    Jehu i need to know what do u do when u connect hoverboard batteries in paralel …how is that safe,thats multiple BMS in paralel for each pack…i know that voltages need to be 99% the same so that we dont have big surges od current from rest of packs to lowest ….but what if one pack goes rouge and drops voltage ….should i put a fuse on every (+) wire of every pack …. ??? what rest of you guys think ?

    Im haven a hard time finding a charger for my headway pack cant find what i need or maybe looking in a lower price range i csn buy a lifepo4 charger but its 4 amp i know i need 8 to 10 but if i cant can this be used i dont plan on using alot plan on the solar csn you help me out or somebody help me with some advice

I have a quick question and I know you’ve been asked this 100s of times. I’m in the middle of a solar generator build, and using one of the 36v inverter you had in the last build like this.     Next on the list is of course making a Powerwall.. You are talking about attaching the thing to the wall, ever thought about french cleats? with offcourse a screw to secure it, makes maintenance a bit easier imho.

    I can’t fault your choice of UPS but will point out that your application voids the warranty on that fairly expensive product.

    So how are you connecting this into your house’s main supply, or is it just powering a few devices and acting like a standard UPS as opposed to a Powerwall?
    Also, the original UPS inverter/charger was running sealed lead acid type batteries, but you replace them with lithium ion type. They don’t charge in the same way, did you change something there?
