In today’s video we reviewed the top 6 best electronic drum sets on the market in 2019. We made this list based on our personal opinion and we ranked them in no particular order after doing our research based on their price, sound quality, durability, brand reputation and more. Percussion is an integral part of every genre of music, but it’s often difficult, inappropriate, or simply impossible to practice on or record with a large, acoustic trap set. So musicians, amateur and professional alike, turn to electronic drum sets to jam out, whether at home wearing headphones or on stage behind the monitors. If you think there are other drum sets which deserve to be in this list, please leave a comment down below! Thanks for watching and if this electronic drum set review was helpful to you, please remember to leave a like and subscribe to our channel to see more videos like this in the future, and if you have any questions related to the drum kits listed here, leave a comment down below and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

I’m a 52 year old drumming newbie & was wondering (in the long run) if a more expensive electronic drum kit would be the way to go…

The 2 that stick out for less & more money & options are:

    TourTech TT-22M between £400 & £430 in the UK…

    &

    Roland TDK17VX £1500 in the UK…

Both V Kits still need (as I’d prefer one) a high hat stand & of course a drum seat aka throne…

All my life I’ve suffer from many nerve damage related injuries & was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia & M.E about 6 years ago & my bass playing days are pretty much over because of this but I discussed with my Gp if a drum kit would be ok to act as a medium to help me exercise my lower & upper limbs…

I’m not aloud to do anything strenuous but I’d like to try drums & my Gp said I should be fine & I’ve just watch my energy levels & not over do it just because I’m feeling a little bit better on certain days…

I’ve always loved the drums & loved my time in 2 bands & working with drummer’s on laying down the groove for the rest of the band to work off of…

I’m just unsure if the Roland would be better for endurance of the material they’re built with but in saying that the TourTech TT-22M has been getting great overall reviews…

If I was gigging or working on studio work I’d go with the Roland but this is just for myself to help move my lower & upper of limbs in a way were I’m exercising at the same time…

I’d appreciate your or anyones input on which would be best & I don’t care that I’m just using it for exercise, if the Roland is a better choice all round then this is what I’d like to know…

    Thank You…

    …..

With the yamaha dtx 400, 402, 432 and 452 models you can add an extra cymbal or pad only if you already have the kp65 kick tower because there is an extra port on the back. If you don’t have the kick tower and you only have the kick pedal (hh controller looking thing) you can replace it with the kick tower

Thanks for featuring Roland in your top 6 electronic drums sets. The V-Compact Series you mention is specifically the TD-17 series V-Drums and there are three models available a three price points; the top TD-17KVX, the TD-17KV and the TD-17K-L. The TD-1KV model featured is now discontinued, but replaced by two models which are the TD-1DMK and the TD-1K (as listed in the video description). Just an update for anyone considering Roland 👍🏻

Ok, what the hell is the POINT of playing as fast as you can on the Yamaha DTX 402?! Stupid!

  7. HoboFraggins on December 3, 2019 at 7:03 pm

Surprised the TD-50 didn’t even make the list even though it is the better drum kit.

If you can afford the TD17kvx or the StrikePro then you likely won’t be considering any other kit on this list.

I used to twril my sticks. Man I spent years and years at it. And although kinda cool and flashy. I cold have been spending that time on a lot more important things that would have greatly improved my drum learning journey .

The set I couldn’t wait to hear and you bring out a long haired freak in a jumpsuit playing some drug induced noisy shit that would scare kids & adults alike! You Suck!

  16. DP Studio on December 3, 2019 at 7:15 pm

Of course I would buy the Roland kit because Anika played it and she is over the top good.
