    @123stephenno

    Complete or just the cartridge?

    I assume just the cartridge, but I am still curious.

    My teacher says he had this game when he was a kid and he’s mad because he sold it a long time ago.

  6. Robert Miles on May 4, 2021 at 12:40 am

    Yuck. With sound effects stolen from Space Jockey (or is it the other way around?) Space Jockey being the better game, nonetheless.

  7. 123stephenno on May 4, 2021 at 12:41 am

    My buddy had this game as a kid. I remember it was during the video game crash. He would spend every penny he had on atari games. The local toy store had a huge bargin bin full of games for $1 each. I remember him purchasing 5 games and this was one of them.

  11. jim on May 4, 2021 at 12:47 am

    One on ebay now for only 1.4 k.

  13. ItsAndy on May 4, 2021 at 12:51 am

    Yesterday Me and my friend found an air raid atari game in his grandma’s attic. We boiled the game in a fryer to see what would happen XD

  14. LeSarthois on May 4, 2021 at 12:52 am

    Rating : good???? What? Have you ever played any shooter game on the Atari 2600? Seriously, I dislike all those space/air shooters on the 2600, but I have seen some that were excellent. And this game is far one of the worse I ever seen.

  15. Highretrogamelord on May 4, 2021 at 12:55 am

    @dhollywoodtcworksnet

    From AtariAge:

    "It was the only game released by MenAVision, and had very limited distribution. The casing has an unusual T shape with a handle on one end, similar to Ultravision and K-Tel."

  16. finmarc on May 4, 2021 at 12:56 am

    the sound reminds me for the last game on the 32 in 1 game cart.
    I think its worth the amount of a few thousands.

  25. berryola on May 4, 2021 at 1:03 am

    Try $31,000…Fun FAct #26. Some of its games are worth a fortune.
    The rarest game for the Atari 2600 is Air Raid. Only 13 copies are known to exist today, and they’re worth as much as $31,000 each~just sayin’

  31. Dark Blue Sky on May 4, 2021 at 1:13 am

    Air Raid (Atari 2600): 3.200 € – 33.400 €

  37. JisINSANE3 on May 4, 2021 at 1:19 am

    I had this fucking game when I was younger. Oh how I hate myself for getting rid of everything.

  38. gjc82071 on May 4, 2021 at 1:19 am

    @dhollywoodtcworksnet I agree. Personally I wouldn’t pay even $0.31 cents for it. Personally I feel video game emulation has kinda screwed up video game collecting. The main, & practically the only reason for owning or collecting a video game, is to "play" it. I just played this game on an emulator. Having the plastic cartridge is not worth $1,000’s to me. No if it was some cool prototype, I REALLY wanted to play, & there was no ROM for it, MAYBE, I would pay up to $100 or 200 for it.

  39. superflashXXX on May 4, 2021 at 1:20 am

    this game is rare, not great…………………….right?

    Wtf is happening

  43. Alan Boguslawski on May 4, 2021 at 1:27 am

    Yes, it was sold for over $31,000, but it was boxed. The box for this game is worth more than the game itself, and only one box is known to exist.

  44. finmarc on May 4, 2021 at 1:28 am

    just sold at e-bay boxed for about 10800,-euro/ca 14000,-$
